Castleman's disease, a rare surgical problem-a case report

Presented here is case of an eight year old girl with Castleman's disease under the form of a neck mass. The mass was asymptomatic. Following partial excision and antibiotic treatment, the mass recurred. Complete excision resulted in permanent cure. Present opinions concerning the pathogenesis of this rare entity have been reviewed. The clinical and pathological picture, diagnosis and treatment have been discussed.
