(B) Loss of toluidine blue is seen in majority of the cartilage. (C) Type I collagen strongly and diffusely positive at 32 weeks in group I (immunohistochemistry ×5). (D) Type II collagen was uneven in the deep layers (immunohistochemistry ×5). (E) Type III collagen was strongly and diffusely positive (immunohistochemistry ×5).
