Figure 2 Western blot and qPCR assay were used to assess the expression of P2X7R protein and P2X7R mRNA in spinal cord. (A) Western blot assay showed that the expression of P2X7R protein in spinal cord was increased notably after spinal cord injury compared to the sham group (** P<0.01) and, compared to model group, BzATP increased the expression of P2X7R protein in spinal cord (* P<0.05) while A-438079 significantly decreased the expression of P2X7R protein in spinal cord (** P<0.01).
