Figure 4 Mean arterial pressure (MAP) (A) and heart rate (HR) (B) at different time points during surgery in each group. Both figure parts show the mean±standard deviation at the following time points: baseline, incision, and 5 min, 10 min, and 15 min after incision, and at skin closure. Repeated measures ANOVA are used and P values are corrected using Bonferroni correction (adjusted by multiplication by number of tests). (A) The changes in MAP were relative to interaction of groups and time (P<0.001), and pairwise comparisons were performed. & P<0.05 between the ESPB and TPVB group, * P<0.05 between the CTEB and TPVB group; # P 0.05 between the TPVB and CTEB group. (B) The changes in HR showed a significant difference only in relation to time (P<0.001). ANOVA – one-way analysis of variance; CTEB – combined thoracic paravertebral block and erector spinae plane block; ESPB – erector spinae plane block; TPVB – thoracic paravertebral block.
