Renal Dysfunction Increases Risk of Adverse Cardiovascular Events in 5-Year Follow-Up Study of Intermediate Coronary Artery Lesions

Major adverse cardiovascular events in 5-year follow-up occurred in 70.6% of patients with mild-to-moderate renal dysfunction compared to 36.6% of patients without renal dysfunction (HR=2.54, 95% CI: 1.20–5.38, P=0.011) in a multivariate analysis adjusted for age and sex. Log-rank P=0.011.
