Figure 2 Defined gait events for each leg: Six gait events were defined for each leg, including RHS1 (first heel strike), RMS (mid-stance), RTO (toe-off), RMSW (mid-swing), RTSW (terminal swing), and RHS2 (second heel strike). The right leg is represented in red, and the left leg is represented in blue. To capture lower-limb movements, a total of 23 reflective markers and 4 clusters were placed on anatomical landmarks, including the greater trochanter, sacrum, iliac crest, anterior and posterior superior iliac spine, medial and lateral epicondyle of the femur, medial and lateral malleolus of the tibia and fibula, heel, toe, the 1st and 5th metatarsophalangeal joints, and clusters were attached to the thigh and shank.
