Representative participant selection was determined by mean plantar load values calculated across the 6 subregions from the respective study populations. Plantar load distribution is illustrated through 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional footprint images, with accompanying color-coded intensity scales. The pressure gradient ranges from light blue (minimal pressure) to dark red (maximal pressure), with white arrows indicating regions of concentrated plantar loading. (Figures were analyzed and derived from an optical plantar pressure analyzer equipped with the FPDS-Pro-V.3.0 software developed by View Grand International Co, Ltd, Taiwan).
