a The first generation infection was defined as those who had the history of travel and residence of Wuhan city and surrounding areas or other communities with reported cases;
b The second generation infection was defined as those who had contacted people from Wuhan city and surrounding areas or other communities with reported cases;
c The third generation infection was defined as those who had contacted a locally confirmed or probable COVID-19 case;
d Unclear defined as cases that did’t belong to the above three categories and whose exposure sources cannot be traced.
