BMI – body mass index (calculated as the weight in kilograms divided by the square of the height in meters). Normally distributed data are given as mean±standard deviation (SD) and non-normally distributed data are expressed as median (IQR). Statistical significances of values were determined by the independent sample test and values were determined by the Mann-Whitney U test between both groups.
1 Ordinary collegiate students (control group) were healthy male collegiate students with no prior experience in squash or expertise in other sports disciplines;
2 Elite squash players (squash group) were male collegiate students who had participated in the open or general men’s singles and team competitions of the squash championships during the 105 to 110 academic years in Taiwanese universities.
