Table 3 Multivariable regression analysis of changes in neprilysin levels and study parameters.

Dependent variableNeprilysin change (β)Neprilysin p-valueAge (β)Age p-valueGender (β)Gender p-valueR-squared
BMI change−0.3120.028−0.0370.11−0.0170.9640.206
Waist circumference change0.6610.3610.0480.688−3.4260.0870.118
HOMA-IR change0.6030.383−0.1030.357−0.1570.9350.066
The table presents the regression analysis showing the association between changes in neprilysin levels (log-transformed) and changes in body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, and homeostasis model assessment (HOMA). Neprilysin levels were log-transformed to stabilize variance and improve model fit.
