| The relationships between BMI and the analyzed parameters were assessed using Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient (univariable analysis). In addition, a multivariable analysis was performed to assess correlations between BMI and selected parameters after taking into account covariates. The table shows the correlation coefficients (Rho) for univariable analysis and partial correlation coefficients (r partial) with their corresponding levels of statistical significance. G1 PaO – partial pressure of oxygen in arterial blood before the induction of anesthesia; G2 PaO – partial pressure of oxygen in arterial blood after the patient was placed in the Trendelenburg position; G3 PaO – partial pressure of oxygen in arterial blood after returning the patient to initial position; ORi – oxygen reserve index; SpO – pulse oximetry. Time points: BEG – before induction of anesthesia; PREOX – after pre-oxygenation with 100% oxygen; INDUCT – after induction of anesthesia; PP+T – after placing the patient in the Trendelenburg position and establishing pneumoperitoneum; AFT10 – 10 minutes after PP+T; AFT30 – after 30 minutes; AFT50 – after 50 minutes; AFT70 – after 70 minutes; ZERO – after returning the patient to the initial position; EXTUB – after extubation; PACU – before transferring the patient to the post-anesthesia care unit. | |||||
