| Percentages in the main categories (ACEIs, ARBs, etc.) are calculated as “number of users in the group divided by total patients in the group (450)”. Subcategory percentages (eg, benazepril users among all ACEI users) are calculated as number of users of that specific drug divided by total users of that drug class in the group. Most patients were on combination therapy; therefore, the sum of percentages across drug classes exceeds 100%. values were calculated using the chi-square test for categorical variables and the Mann-Whitney U test for the median number of drugs.
