Figure 5 A 11-month-old girl with influenza-associated encephalopathy (IAE), with fever for 2 days, no convulsion. Multiple gyrus swelling and abnormal signals were observed in bilateral cerebral hemispheres, with low signal on T1WI (A) and high signal on T2WI (B) and T2WI-FLAIR (C), more obviously on the left side. Diffuse enhancement was observed on T1WI contrast enhancement (D) in lesions of the gyrus and pia meninges.
