(C–E) HT-29 and WiDr cells were pretreated with ERK-specific inhibitor U0126 for 30 min followed by stimulation with high-glucose medium for 24 h, and protein (C, D) and mRNA (E) expression of β6 subunit was detected by western blot and real-time PCR.
