The area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve of 30-day hospital discharge was 0.931 (range: 0.880–0.965) for the New Injury Severity Score (red line) and 0.937 (0.888–0.970) for the Braden Scale-based injury score (blue line) (Z=0.291, P=0.771, Delong test). The ROC curve analysis was conducted with MedCalc software (MedCalc, MedCalc Software Ltd).
