Letters ‘N’ or ‘H’ denotes respectively normoglycemic (NG) or hyperglycemic (HG) conditions applied in subsequent stages of the cell culture. The advancement of adipogenesis is marked by the number of letters informing about the glycemic conditions. Variants of HPA-v cells cultured in chronic NG are colored green, whereas cells treated with chronic HG are colored red and cells treated with intermittent HG are in black.
