Model 1 was adjusted for sex (in total population analysis) and age. Model 2 comprises model 1 plus FIB-4 score. MetS – metabolic syndrome; OR – odds ratio; CI – confidence interval; FLI – fatty liver index; CAP – controlled attenuation parameter; FIB-4 – fibrosis-4.
# We combined the MetS stages C and D into 1 group because of the small number of participants in the MetS stage D in our cohort.
