BMI – body mass index; ASA-PS – American Society of Anesthesiologists Classification of Physical Status. The thyromental distance is measured from the chin (mentum) to the top of the thyroid cartilage when the head is fully extended. I >6.5 cm, II 6-6.5 cm. Group UE – left double-lumen tube intubation with the UE videolaryngoscope. Group MedAn – left double-lumen tube intubation with the MedAn videolaryngoscope with the Nishikawa blade. Data are presented as mean±standard deviation and median (IQR, interquartile range) or numbers (n).
