Abstract
The purpose of this work was to evaluate the frequency of occurrence of high anticardiolipinic antibody titre (aCL) class IgG and IgM in patients with different systemic connective tissue diseases and determination of the relationship between chosen clinical symptoms and isotype of existing antibodies. 132 patients, including 119 women and 13 men at the age of 20-74 (average age 49.8), with different systemic connective tissue diseases, were examined. Anticardiolipinic antibodies were marked with the use of ELISA method with the application of tests produced by SIGMA. High titres of aCL were found in 35 examined patients (26.5%), in that number 18 (13.6%) were high values of aCL from IgG class, in 11 (9.3%) of aCL from IgM class and in 6 (4.5%) high titres of aCL of both classes (IgG+IgM) Secondary antiphospolipidic anatomosis was diagnosed in 23 patients according to Harris criteria. Skin changes were the most common clinical symptoms and were diagnosed in 17 patients with high titre of aCL. Neurological disturbances were observed in 12 patients, cardiological complications - in 10, thrombosis - in 5. Obstetrical failure occurred in 9 patients. In 23 patients thrombocytopenia occurred, in 10 - leucopenia, in 10 - APTT elongation, in 8 - presence of lupous anticoagulant and in 3 - false positive Wasserman's reactions. Most clinical symptoms, as well as deviations in immunological and haematological examinations, correlated with high class IgG aCL titres.
