Consequences of presumed cerebral vascular lesions in childhood in radiological scanning - a case study

Abstract
This study presents the case of a woman who suffered brain damage in childhood and a sudden, severe CNS dysfunction as an adult. A misleading differential diagnosis of giant infarct, haemorrhage, tumour or cerebral malformation was the result of atypical scans in CT, MR, angio-MR and DSA imaging. Only the presence of motor disability without dysphasia emphasized the potential for clinical improvement.
