Endometriosis of the urinary bladder as a result of ceaserean section

Abstract
A case of a 35 year old female patient with endometriosis of the urinary bladder resulting from a previous Caesarean section is described. The presence of the tumour was first suspected from recurrent haematuria. The diagnosis was confirmed by ultrasonography, cystoscopy and histological examination. The patient underwent transurethral resection of the tumour and hormonal treatment was administered. At present the patient has shown a complete recovery.
