Abstract
157 pregnancies were analyzed in sterile and infertile women after balneological treatment. Our control group consisted of 25 pregnant women who completed pharmacological treatment. All women were under continuous surveillance at the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology starting before pregnancy and all the deliveries took place at the Institute. Some pathological symptoms were observed during pregnancy. After balneological treatment more than 60% of women made conception within less than six months. More than 90% of pregnant women need the pharmacological treatment against prematurity during their pregnancies. The highest prematurity rate was observed in the control group - 24% of pregnancies were delivered pre-term. The rate of delivery by caesarean section was similar in all the examined groups - 23%.
