A case of pancreatic adrenocarcinoma with metastases in the heart

Abstract
The authors present a case of a 52 year old woman operated on for cancer of the head of pancreas and with pulmonary embolism in the postoperative period. Multiple cardiac metastases were diagnosed on post-mortem autopsy. The authors also review the cases of various tumours metastasising to the heart and the current approach to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac malignant secondary lesions.
