Epilepsia partialis continua in a pregnant woman

Abstract
Presented here, is a case of epilepsia partialis continua in a woman aged 24, in whom at the beginning of the 4th month of her first pregnancy clonic twitching the right hand and forearm occurred. After six months, of carbamazepine and clonazepam treatment the twitching ceased completely. The patient gave birth to a healthy full- term child.
