Role of endothelin in the pathogenesis of pulmonary hypertension

Abstract
In the last years the understanding of endothelium dysfunction and endothelium in the pathogenesis of both primary and secondary pulmonary hypertension, has greatly increased. Endothelin antagonists may soon play an important role in the therapy of these pathologies.
