Rectal duplication-a case report

Abstract
Presented here is a case of rectal duplication ending in an additional anus. Diagnosis was based on clinical, contrast radiological and ultrasonographic examinations of the digestive and urogenital tracts. Surgery was performed during several stages. The final stage consisted in the elimination of the mucous membrane from the duplicated part and the reproduction of regular anatomical perineal relations.
