The study was carried out on 80 hepatic-pancreatic-duodenal specimens which were subjected to direct preparation. The breadth, length and mutual position of cystic artery and cystic duct were estimated. Additionally, CA ramification sites were assessed. Typical position of these components (CA located slightly backwards and to the left of CD) was observed in 40% in the remaining cases other positions were recorded. Mean CA length (measured from its origin to ramification to two branches was 27.1 mm, while its breadth - 1.17 mm. Mean length of CD trunk was 27.4 mm and its breadth - 2.84 mm. Right hepatic branch of common hepatic artery was the most frequent site of CA origin.
